The gay clubs in Rio are going to be bumping this one. On Friday, as she celebrated the release of her new album Funk Generation, Anitta released a choreography-filled video for her album’s sexy track “Grip.”

“One more surprise! 👯‍♀️” GRIP music video is now available!” Anitta wrote on Instagram. “Hurry and watch so you can learn the choreography. 🔥 Dance party?”

The short video (the track is less than a minute long) sees Anitta surrounded by a group of dancers as she sings about how her “lil pussy got grip” over Miami bass and the Brazilian funk prevalent across her LP.

“Better know who you’re messing with, with, with/I could make your face my chair and sit, sit, sit,” she sings. “Make you spend all that cash quick, quick/But I’m too busy with this bag though.”

“Grip” is the second track on Funk Generation, Anitta’s album that embraces the singer’s Brazilian funk roots, and features track such as “Love in Common” and “Puta Cara,” along with tracks alongside Sam Smith and Bad Gyal.  The album marks her sixth studio effort and follows 2022’s Versions of Me.

“To be the pioneer is very hard because you’re doing something nobody has done, so you don’t have an example to follow,” Anitta told Rolling Stone about tapping into the genre with the new project. “You need to trust your gut, your feelings, and your intuition.”

Fans will be able to show off their “Grip” dance moves on Anitta’s upcoming world tour, which will see her stop in cities such as Mexico City, Miami Beach, Los Angeles, and Lima.
